Chromakopia is being named a classic in the making by fans due to Tyler’s last two studio projects symbolizing a new era in the Tyler-verse. From the production to the lyricism Tyler has struck interest with new and old fans with the NOID music video garning 2.6M and ST. CHROMA teaser gaining 7M views during its debut.
Whereas other artists create promo during their album rollouts, Tyler created his own lane by letting fans truly engage in the album rather than the promo surrounding it. As Tyler announced Chromakopia release date, he began rolling out singles from the album immediately.
Although Tyler remains quiet between drops, with expectation of a few X posts, interactive promo for Chromakopia is being spotted through the states. Fans have shared their findings via TikTok and other social media, further creating genuine interest in this upcoming release.
Seeing Tyler continue the trend of writing and producing all the tracks on this album was a joy many fans and myself alike. Since I missed the hype for Call Me If You Get Lost, I’m excited to experience the story line for this album as it seems to continue this theme of being somewhat of an outcast or a weirdo like IGOR. I’m more interested in the albums that Tyler presents through a character that represents himself or his alters rather than an album directly from his point of view.
The growth of the production on ST.CHROMA and NOID are a great experience. Peaks of previous albums seem to add familiarity to these tracks that scratches an itch in my brain. Fans won’t have to wait for long as the album is available for pre-order and set to release next Monday, Oct. 28.
