Yves serves her Engdu an electric performance in Dallas
Yves is a kpop artist originally from the girl group LOONA, at the height of LOONA stardom came conflict when their parent company (BBC) continuously sabotaged the group and their opportunities. As the group broke into their own endeavors, Yves broke out into solo stardom. Yves became just as successful as her group and solo sisters, allowing her to debut her world tour.

The Apple Cinnamon Crunch Tour consists has nine shows, Jan. 25, 2025 is when Dallas got the Yves experience. The Dallas show was hosted at The House of Blues and is perfect for an artist her size.
Yves' sound has evolved into K-Rock, Hip hop, and Electronic/ Dance since becoming solo, her sound is diverse but palatable for non K-pop listeners and fans alike. Unsurprisingly she starts off the first stage with LOOP ft Lil Cherry. LOOP IS easily one of Yves’ most recognizable tracks and Dallas lets her know by responding to the performance with screams of joy.
Yves is a small artist and she had to fill up the stages with more performances. Usually, I rather see the main artist that I came to see but PAIXPERMIL did a great job of incorporating Blah on Yves second stage as she prepared for the last.
The set was an hour and a half outside of meet and greets and the concert was broken up into three stages. While the we waited for Yves to prepare for the next stage, she performed covers, did a Q&A, and her backup dancers also gave a great opening to fill out the opening of the second act. As Yves closed out the third act with her B sides she interacted with fans before her encore performance of Viola, which had the crowd react with her iconic fan chant.
She had three VIP tiers and sections to choose from as well. I purchased a general admission ticket for $55 with a VIP 1 package priced at $149 with fees. This allowed me to attend a fansign, hi-touch, and receive a polaroid with Yves herself. The interactions I had with Yves were well worth the cheaper concert ticket as I received a ton of merch items along with meeting her.
This was the concert of the year, and a great way to start off 2025 for Yves. Her fanbase is increasing by the day thanks to her label allowing her creative control and putting it on a platform. I can’t wait to see her break into the mainstream, she has the most potential I’ve seen in a while.
